Treating Illness through Wellness!

Primary Care

The skin rejuvenation process is defined as a process that takes place to attempt the reversal of visible signs of aging. Skin rejuvenation processes have the ability to diminish wrinkles and lines as well as firm loose and sagging areas of the skin leaving the skin with a younger appearance.

Family Practice

Provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages.

Internal Medicine

Provides care for adults, much like a pediatrician does for children.

Pediatrics

Provides comprehensive care and treatment for children.

Spirometry

Spirometry is the most common type of pulmonary function or breathing test. This test measures how much air you can breathe in and out of your lungs, as well as how easily and fast you can blow the air out of your lungs.

EKG

An electrocardiogram is a test that measures the electrical activity of the heartbeat. A normal heartbeat on ECG will show the timing of the top and lower chambers of the heart identifying if parts of the heart are too large or are overworked.

Holter Monitoring

A Holter monitor is a battery-operated portable device that measures and records your heart’s activity (ECG) continuously for 24 to 48 hours or longer depending on the type of monitoring used. The device is the size of a small camera. It has wires with silver dollar-sized electrodes that attach to your skin.

Skin Biopsies

Skin biopsy is a biopsy technique in which a skin lesion is removed to be sent to a pathologist to render a microscopic diagnosis. It is usually done under local anesthetic in a physician’s office, and results are often available in 4 to 10 days.

Abscess Drainage

Abscess drainage is the treatment typically used to clear a skin abscess of pus and start the healing process. Smaller abscesses may not need to be drained to disappear.  Abscess Drainage is typically done on an outpatient basis.

Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy, sometimes known as cold therapy, is the local or general use of low temperatures in medical therapy. Cryotherapy may be used to treat a variety of tissue lesions.

Electrocautery

Electrocauterization is a routine surgical procedure. A surgeon or doctor uses electricity to heat tissue in order to prevent or stop bleeding after an injury or during surgery, remove abnormal tissue growth, and prevent infection.

Joint Injections

Joint injections are used to deliver steroids directly into a joint, such as a knee, ankle, or wrist. Sometimes fluid is removed from the joint before the steroid is injected. Steroid joint injections can help with pain and swelling by treating the underlying joint inflammation.

Cosmetic Services

Convenient, comfortable, and affordable cosmetic surgery options for men and women. Minimally invasive procedures performed in our office allow for increased recovery time, decreased discomfort, and nearly invisible scars.

Cosmetic Surgery

Spirometry is the most common type of pulmonary function or breathing test. This test measures how much air you can breathe in and out of your lungs, as well as how easily and fast you can blow the air out of your lungs.

Laser Procedures

Medical lasers are medical devices that use precisely focused light sources to treat or remove tissues. With proper use, lasers allow the surgeon to accomplish more complex tasks, reduce blood loss, decrease postoperative discomfort, reduce the chance of wound infection, and achieve better-wound healing.

Botox

Botulinum toxin is used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles by paralyzing the underlying muscles. People also use Botox to treat excessive sweating, migraines, muscular disorders, and some bladder and bowel disorders. Botox is injected with a fine needle into specific muscles with only minor discomfort.

Fotona® 4D Facial

Fotona4D is a series of synergistic, non-invasive laser treatments of both the exterior facial and interior oral cavity, enabling full-thickness contraction of collagen for persistent tightening and volumization without injectables.

NeckLase®

NeckLase surgery improves the texture of the skin on your neck. This is particularly beneficial for skin that has been damaged through sun exposure or has an uneven skin tone due to age.

LipLase®

Light-based laser treatments of the lip can provide substantial plumping, color and texture improvement and significant reduction of fine lines and wrinkles surrounding the lip by heating the tissue of the lip and surrounding area to create collagen.

EyeLase®

A type of refractive surgery for the correction of myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism.

NightLase®

Fotona’s NightLase® therapy is a non-invasive, patient-friendly laser treatment for increasing the quality of a patient’s sleep. NightLase reduces the effects of sleep apnea and decreases the amplitude of snoring by means of a gentle, laser-induced tightening effect caused by the contraction of collagen in the oral mucosa tissue.

Facial Hair Removal

Undergo laser therapy to remove your hair and stop it from growing back. The treatment involves aiming a laser at your hair follicles and damaging them so they no longer grow hair.

Hair Growth

Low-level laser therapy is believed to increase blood flow in the scalp and stimulate metabolism in catagen or telogen follicles, resulting in the production of anagen hair. This is converted to cyclic AMP in the hair follicle cells, releasing energy and stimulating metabolic processes necessary for hair growth.

Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is the process of hair removal by means of exposure to pulses of laser light that destroy the hair follicle.

Varicose Veins

Varicose veins are a common condition caused by weak or damaged vein walls and valves. Varicose veins may form whenever blood pressure increases inside your veins. Treatment involves compression stockings, exercise or procedures to close or remove the veins.

Vascular Lesions

Removal of Vascular Lesions. Target unwanted or abnormal blood vessels in the skin, whilst minimizing damage to surrounding normal skin structures.

Warts

Warts are small skin growths caused by viral infections. Laser surgery uses an intense beam of light, or laser, to burn and destroy the wart tissue.

Acne

Using Ablative laser resurfacing, a procedure that uses a wand-like laser instrument to remove the upper layers of skin from acne scarring. It is sometimes referred to as “laser peeling” since it removes old skin cells in order to reveal newer, more youthful cells.

Onychomycosis

(Toenail Fungus) Utilization of lasers for clearing fungus from the nail. The laser light penetrates through the nail and soft tissue to both kill fungus in its path and promote new nail growth. Once the living fungus is zapped by the laser, healthy nails begin to grow from the cuticle of the nail.

Skin Rejuvenation

The skin rejuvenation process is defined as a process that takes place to attempt the reversal of visible signs of aging. Skin rejuvenation processes have the ability to diminish wrinkles and lines as well as firm loose and sagging areas of the skin leaving the skin with a younger appearance.

Sexual Health

Hormone Implants

Hormone implants are a form of hormone replacement therapy – a treatment for the symptoms of the menopause. They are small pellets which are inserted into the fat under thecskin (usually the tummy) where they become absorbed, releasing the hormones slowly over a 4-6 month period.

IUD's

An IUD is a small T-shaped birth control device that is placed in the uterus. It sits inside the uterus, and the cervix keeps it in place. Once it is in, you cannot feel it. There are two types of IUDs: the non-hormonal–copper T IUD and the hormonal–levonorgestrel IUD.

Pap Smears

Pap tests (or Pap smears) look for cancers and precancers in the cervix. Precancers are cell changes that can be caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). If not treated, these abnormal cells could lead to cervical cancer. A Pap test is a test your doctor or nurse does to check your cervix for any cells that are not normal.

Vasectomy

Male sterilization, or vasectomy, is a procedure performed on a man that will permanently keep him from being able to get a woman pregnant. This procedure ensures that ejaculate does not have any sperm in it that can fertilize an egg.
